As Principal in charge of the healthcare consulting consulting practice of a national managed care consulting firm, OnPoint Partners, Carmine is well qualified to address the challenges of managed care due to the various senior staff positions he has held with a number of large provider and national managed care companies.  The firm has assisted various national health plans expand their physician and hospital networks and have provided a number of hospitals and other healthcare providers with continued support to address the managed care challenges they encounter daily.

Carmine has gained valuable managed care experience based on time spent as Senior V.P. of Managed Care for the Long Island Health Network (a 10-hospital system), V.P. Market Leader of MetraHealth’s Metro New York Market, Regional V.P. of MetLife HealthCare, V.P. of Managed Care Operations at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Regional V.P. of Travelers Health Network and V.P. of Maxicare Health Plans.  In all cases, he had responsibilities for the financial results of each respective organization’s HMO.  In addition, he also had responsibility for provider network development and maintenance, medical management and customer relations.

Carmine earned an MBA in Health Care Administration from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York and a BBA from Bernard M. Baruch College.  Carmine resides in North Bellmore, NY with his wife.
